Symptoms requiring immediate attention
Please message us immediately if you observe any of the following critical red flags:
- Laboured, open-mouthed, or noisy breathing, or blue-tinged gums.
- Continuous seizures or collapse with loss of consciousness.
- Severe trauma, traffic accidents, or active, uncontrolled bleeding.
- Ingestion of known toxins including lilies, chocolate, xylitol, rodenticide, or human medications.
- Male cats straining repeatedly to urinate without producing urine.
What we can and cannot do at home
We practice honest and responsible emergency triage:
- What we treat at home: acute stabilization, fluid therapy, injectable pain relief, anti-emetic injections, wound dressing, and diagnostic blood sampling.
- Conditions requiring immediate hospital referral: severe respiratory failure requiring an oxygen cage, emergency caesarean section, or intensive overnight ICU monitoring. In such cases, we guide you to the nearest equipped 24-hour partner hospital without delay.
