How are fees determined?

Our vet performs a physical examination on site to assess your pet's condition. After that, a detailed cost breakdown for any medication or treatment is explained before anything goes ahead.

Can you come on the same day?

Yes, same-day visits are available depending on vet availability in your area. Message us early to secure a slot.

Do you visit apartments or serviced residences?

Yes. Please give your tower, unit number, and any visitor registration requirements, such as leaving an ID at the lobby, so our vet can reach you without delay.

Which pets do you treat?

Cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, sugar gliders, birds, and turtles. For any other species, ask on WhatsApp first.

What if it is an emergency?

We are open 24 hours, day and night. Put the word EMERGENCY at the start of your WhatsApp message so our team responds first; night visits count as emergency visits. For anything needing oxygen, transfusion, or hospitalisation, our vet will tell you plainly and help you get to a facility that has the equipment.

Kalyanvet works through WhatsApp chat only, which keeps location pins, medical history, and scheduling accurate. Send us the symptoms you can see, your pet's species and age, and your location.

Terms of service

This page explains what we do, what we do not do, and how visits are arranged. It is written so you know beforehand, not after the vet arrives.

What we do

Kalyan Vet provides home visit veterinary care across Greater Jakarta. At your home we carry out examinations, vaccinations, sample collection, and first line treatment. Surgery, sterilisation, and inpatient care are carried out at a partner facility, with the patient collected and returned. Cremation is handled by our cremation partner.

Scheduling and visits

Visits are by appointment through WhatsApp. Availability depends on distance and traffic on the day, so the time is confirmed before the vet sets off. Please send your full address together with a location pin. If your plans change, tell us as early as you can so the slot can go to another patient.

Fees

Fees follow the procedure, the distance, and the animal weight. We state the figure in chat before the vet sets off. Additional tests, blood work for example, are never carried out without telling you first. This site does not publish a price list, because the figure differs with each case.

Limits of medical care

Medical decisions are made by the vet after examining the animal in person, not from a description in chat. We do not promise recovery, and we do not dispense medicine without an examination. Cases that need fuller equipment are referred to a suitable facility, and we tell you before anything is started.

Conditions for certain procedures

Some procedures carry conditions, which we state at the start of the conversation. Sterilisation requires the animal to have had at least one vaccination that is still in date. Other preparation, fasting before a procedure for example, is explained in chat before the date is confirmed.

Articles here are educational and do not replace an examination. We deliberately do not publish drug names with dosages, because dosage depends on the weight, age, and condition of each animal. If symptoms worsen, contact a vet, and it does not have to be us.
